Hip-Hop界の大物、Jay-ZとそのJay-Zが見出したKanye Westのコラボレーション作。とはいえ全体のトーンはKanyeの前作(My Beatiful Dark Twisted Fantasy)の流れを汲み、Trackもよく作りこまれている。つまり、Kanyeの作品にJay-Zが全面Guest参加しているような印象だ。ただし、Neptunes, Q-Tip, Swizz BeatzなどのProduce曲も後半に配置し、Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them AllのFrank OceanをGuestに向かえ変化をつけ、新たなお楽しみを提供してくれている。
