一応、Jaz-Zのとっては5作目となるアルバム。前のアルバムでVolシリーズは終わりだったので、新展開を期待したのだが、"Dynasty"という名称のJay-Zファミリー(たぶんメンバーはJay-Z, Beanie Siegel, Memphis Bleek, Amilの４人)のお披露目的な作品となっている。MajorなProducerを迎えず、メンバーのいつものままなので、最先端のHip-Hopとはいかないが、Jay-Zだけあって一定の品質には仕上がっている。
