毎年コンスタントにアルバムをリリースするJay-Zだが、これが引退作だそう。Interludeで人生を振り返ったりもしている。駄作のないJay-Zだが、今回も粒ぞろいのTrackの並ぶ高レベルの作品で、今までの集大成と言ってもよさそう。つまりその分新鮮味はかけているかもしれない。Rapそのものスキルはほんと一級で、お気に入りのProducerによりうまく料理されている。
