| デビュー作でグラミー3部門受賞と一躍メジャーの仲間入りしたJohn Legendだが、ファンを待たせることなく2ndをリリースしてきた。前作の延長線上ではあるが、よりポピュラーな曲調のものが多く、もはやR&Bと一言で括れない広がりはある。佳曲揃いでまとまり感も増しているが、逆に訴えかけてくるものは少ないかもしれない。初めて聴いた時は、あまり心に残る感じではなかったが、聴けば聴くほど味わい深いところは前作同様だ。will.i.amが普通に良いトラックを仕上げているのもある意味驚き。 | ||
