Wu-tang Clanの新作は前作より約1年という短いインターバルでのリリースとなった。最近Eastside勢がおとなしいことも有り、多くの期待をしてなかったのだがかなりの強力なアルバムだ。ソウルフルでファンク度が増し、押しも強くガッシリとした骨格となっている。そのへんはRZAによるProduceの冴えによるものだろう。服役中のODBと理由不明のCappadonna不在により8名によって作成された模様。
