John LegendやBetty Wrightなど他アーティストとのコラボーレションも活発で継続して制作意欲の高いRootsの1年半ぶりの作品。Album Creditによると現在は8人編成らしい。今回はRedford Stephensという人の反省をフィクションとして描いたコンセプトアルバム。なのでSound Trackのような雰囲気を持ち、ラスト4曲による組曲はインストのみとなっている。唄とRapはほぼ半々で、ストイックで暗めな印象やざらつき感は前作と同様。40分弱ということも合って、なかなか濃密な作品である。
