ダイヤモンドアルバムとなった前作から3年ぶりとなるOutkastの新作。30年代をフィーチャーしたミュージカル映画のサウントドラックということで、過去の作品とは大分趣向の違う作品となった。アルバムの性格上、当然だが30年代、特にCab Carrowayあたりを意識したジャイブっぽい曲や、ジャンプ、ジャズなどを下敷きにOutkastらしいひねりを加えたトラックも少なくない。またAndreの好きなPrince志向も健在で、そういうアメリカ黒人のごった煮感覚がAndreにも宿っているのだろう。若干出番の少ないBig Boiも存在感は示している。
