| Singer / BasistのMeshell Ndegeocello、2年ぶりの作品。わが道を行きつつ、幅広い音楽性を持ち、コンセプチャルなアルバムを製作する人だが、今回は、Singer Songwriter / ProducerのJoe Henryの全面Produceを任せ、本人はほぼ歌い手に専念している。内省的で静謐、語りかけるように唄うMeshellの特徴を良く活かすような、ゆったり目で音数の少ない曲がほとんど。ジャンル分けを拒むような、オリジナルな世界を展開しているが、Meshellに唄はきちんと耳に届いてくる。 | ||
