Mavis Staplesの3年振りとなるアルバム。復活を果たした前々作からの好調さを維持している。特に前作でグラミー賞を獲得したのだが、そのときのコンビであるProducerのJeff Tweedyと再度タッグを組んでいる。そのJeffがWilcoのメンバーだということもあり、R&B色は弱く、Rock, Country, Folk, Gospelの要素も交えた懐かしい印象のアルバムである。Acoustic Guiterも重用し、ゆったりしとしたバンドサウンドと成熟しきったMavisの声が一体となり、心に染み入てくる。新曲, カバー曲, セルフカバーによる構成だが、Mavisの作品として消化されているのは流石。
