Jay-Zを後ろ盾に、チャート1位と、順調な滑り出しとなったJ Coleのアルバムデビュー作。自身で12曲をProduceしている。ただ、ProducerがRapしているのではなく、RapperがProduceもしているというのが過去の傾向と違うところ。専門Producerに劣らない安定したTrack makingである。RapスタイルはDrakeに代表される最近の肩の力のぬけたタイプに属するが、力強さももち、ハードな面ものぞかせる。突出した個性は無いが、ProduceもRapもそつなく、これが、2010年代のアーティストなのかもしれない。
