UKのBBEというレーベルの"The Beat Generation" シリーズの多分第一弾はJay Deeのソロ作。Jay DeeはSlum VillageやCommonなど多くのProdeceを行ってきた大物Producer(ちなみに当ReviewのProdecer欄にあるJames YanceyはJay Dee本人)。全体的にアコースティック中心のTrackにはオーソドックスなRapがかぶさっている。レーベルの特徴なのかダイナミズムのようなものは感じられないが、デトロイトのクラブの雰囲気はこんな感じかなあと思わせてくれる。
