昨年(2009)にリリースしたSo Far GoneがEP扱いなので、これがDrakeにとっての1st フルアルバムとなる。前作とスタイルは変わらず、唄の比重が多く、サウンドは全体を通して、茫洋として静かで内省的だ。ここのところは好き嫌いがわかれるだろう。普段の生活や恋愛を唄った(ライムした)歌詞もかなり新鮮で、新世代Hip-hop Artistであることは間違いない。大物Guestを呼びつつも、軸がぶれてないのは、実力が認められているからであろう。
