| Nico Segal (a.k.a. Donnie Trumpet)率いる5人組みバンド、The Social Experimentによる自主制作アルバム。シカゴを本拠に活動しているらしく、また、Chance
The Rapperもその一員ということで注目を集めている。アルバムは現在、USのitunesのみから入手可能(但し、無料)。リーダーの名前からも想像できるが、ホーン中心でJazzテイストのバンドで、簡単に言えばインストルメンタルパートの多い唄ものアルバムと言える。ただ、Trackはスペーシーなもの、ラテンぽいもの、ブラスバンド的なJazz、メロディアスで抒情的なもの、Rapをフィーチャーしたもの、それにロック、ソウルと相当に幅広く面白い。そして豪華なGuestを適材適所的に配しているのも特徴的だ。彼らのポリシーなのだろうけど、これが無料なのはもったいない気がする。 |
