New Orleans出身のR&Bシンガー、PJ Mortonの2年ぶりのアルバム。CD Titleに本人の1st nameを冠して、Song Writing, Produceをほぼ本人がこなしている。Maroon5のメンバーとしても著名な人でGrammyの常連でもあるが、今回、初めてじっくりと聴きました。雰囲気や唄い口は初期のJohn Legendに似てる印象で、オーソドックスかつ温もりのあるR&B作品になっていて、New OrleansらしいバウンスやKanyeっぽい早回しVocalがアクセントになっている。後半の女性VocalとのDuetも聴きどころと言えそうだ。
