| The Weekndの1年3カ月振りとなるメジャー3作目。前作でGrammyを獲得し、一般受けすることも証明されたわけだが、それをさらに進めてPopでメロディアスでメインストリームなR&Bに一層近づいている。高音とファルセットが特徴的な唄も、一昔前に流行ったナヨっとした若手Vocalを一瞬想起してしまう。当初の捻じれてアンビエントな感覚も前面には押し出さず、曲の土台として埋め込まれている気がする。とはいえ、Indy時代からの仲間であるDoc McKinneyによるTrackはなかなか凝っていて、官能的なThe Weekndの唄を支えている。最初と最後を占める、すぐにそれとわかるDaft Punkプロデュース曲も印象的である。 | ||
