| The Weekndの2年振りメジャー2作目。去年あたりから、Ariana GrandeとDuoしたり、シングルがチャートインしたりと一般の人にも見つけられつつあったところで、良いタイミングでのリリースとなった。内省的、耽美的で、Lyricはドラッグねたも多く倒錯気味という本質的なところは変わってないと思うが、表面的にはメロディはわかりやすく聴きやすくなり、R&Bっぽい曲もあったりして、メインストリームにだいぶ近寄ってきた印象を受ける。おかげでGrammyにも6部門でノミネートされている。高音とファルセットが特徴的な歌のほうも、エモーショナルな部分がより伝わってくるようになったと思う。 | ||
