最近、影のうすかったPete Rockだが、Soul Survivorとしてはなんと6年ぶりの続作で復活をはたした。3年かけたというだけあって、丹念に作られた、大人の鑑賞にたえうる作品。RZAやJay Deeをゲストで呼びながらRapだけさせてるのはさすが。Trackはなかなかソウルフルで奇をてらったものは期待できないが、じっくりと落ち着いて聴けるものばかりで、かえって新鮮です。
