Mos Defのなんと5年ぶりの作品。前作より意外と時が経ってしまった。それで内容はというと、まず前半はロック中心で驚かされてしまう。後半はHip-Hopに戻ったりもするのだが、他にもブルースであったりファンクであったりと、枠組みのとらわれず自身の感性のままに作り上げた作品のようだ。傾向としてはRootsの最近の動きと似たものであろう。なお、数曲で参加のバックバンドBlack Jack JohnsonはDoug Wimbush, Bernie Worrel, Will Kalhounなど異種混合のすごいバンドでさすがのグルーブ感である。
