| John Legendの3作目。正統派ソウルの担い手というデビュー時の印象から、2作目では少しのポップさが加わったJohnの作風ではあるが、今回はその方向性に大きくジャンプしている。最近流行のエレクトロは取り入れ、第一印象としてはよりポップにシフトしているのだ。Album Titleに違わない進化(というか変化)をアピールしている。ほかにも、Estelleとのレゲエ曲や、アフリカ風、Trevor Hornによる壮大はTrackなどもあり変化のベクトルが拡散していることも判る。ただ後半に多いスローな曲を聴くと、やっぱりこの人の声は正統派ソウルのほうが合ってると思ってしまう。 | ||
