デビュー作で成功を収めたDrakeの 2nd Album。方向性は変わらないが、よりアンビエントな曲やR&Bに近づいた曲が増えて、完成度も高まったように思える。長年の相棒、Noah "40" Shebibが多くを手掛けるゆったりとしたTrackにDrakeの茫洋としたVocalで身近でEmotionalな詩を歌うという基本も変わらない。が、以前よりは少しオープンな感じがして、リスナーにとっても受け入れやすいのではないか。まだまだ好き嫌いは分かれると思うが、その勢いも含めて、2010年代初頭のHip-Hopの方向性を代表している作品。
