| Austinに拠点を置く8人編成(3人はブラス隊)のバンド、Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybearsのデビュー作。VoのBlack Joe Lewisは黒人だが、他のメンバーは白黒混合だ。60/70年代のファンクロックそのままに、ガレージバンドっぽいVoが乗っかったような音楽性で、ローカルバンドっぽさに溢れている。演奏がタイトで曲も短く、小細工も無いので、最後まで一気に聞かせる勢いがある。ライブが盛り上がりそうなバンドでもある。 | ||
